Today under the rubble,
we heard the desperate whisper of the youth
and the sighs barely perceptible of children
who hoped for in vain that someone would save them
and give them the chance to live.
Then silence became their voice.<\/p>

I hear their souls making the retrospection of,
their unfinished dreams and their hopes evaporated.
I hear the screams of their death seeking justice.
I hear the wrath of their blood claiming that their death and,
the offering of their lives may not be wasted.<\/p>

They ask that their silent sacrifices be recognized.
They ask that their brief passage on this land,
which some idiots describe as cursed,
does not fall into anonymity.<\/p>

In short, through their celestial choir chorus,
they require nothing less than a total and definitive change in Haiti.
Only the complete overhaul of this nation and this guilty system
could calm down their insist roars.<\/p>

Am I Haitian? Yes.
Am I a Patriot? I think.
Am I saddened? Certainly.
Am I frustrated? Enough.
Am I defeatist? Absolutely not.
Am I angry? I am groaning inside.
Have I understood what happened? Intellectual clarity is bursting out of my senses.
Will I take action? I am determined to do so.<\/p>
